Activities:

  • Setting day to day priorities for development in alignment with the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) roadmap
  • Establishing functional requirements for user stories and working with Quality Assurance to accept product
  • Conducting product roadmap briefings for customers and partners and attending Executive Business Reviews to hear customer feedback
  • Reviewing developer work output, providing feedback on design, and management acceptance of functional requirements while working with the engineering management team under the CTO
  • Interacting with the marketing team to effectively describe differentiated features and functionality for the RegScale platform
  • Reviewing and maintaining public facing documentation on README.io
  • Training sales/marketing staff and new employees on use of the RegScale platform
  • Serving as the bridge between Customer Support and R&D to prioritize bug fixes and minor enhancements while ensuring ticket status is consistently updated
  • Teaching and mentoring technical staff

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong business skills including marketing, developing business cases, and translating software features to customer value
  • Experience in delivering a great User Experience (UX) in software
  • Performing in a business analyst role to derive functional and technical requirements
  • Knowledge and past experience working with one or more cyber security compliance frameworks (NIST, PCI, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO, etc.)
  • Technical writing to describe new features and functionality for the RegScale platform
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills for interacting with C-Level customers
  • Experience with Agile Project Management, Scrum processes, and operating in a geographically distributed project environment
  • Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and personal development

 

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years experience, or
  • Minimum of Master’s Degree and 5 years experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Scrum or Project Management certifications are strongly desired
  • Prior experience and/or education in marketing is preferred
  • Prior working experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) companies is highly preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background check and random periodic drug testing
  • Must live in Knoxville, TN or be willing to relocate for this position and work out of the R&D office up to 50% of the time
