RegScale – Kubernetes Easy Button for Deployments

Helm uses a packaging format called charts. A chart is a collection of files that describe a related set of Kubernetes resources. A single chart might be used to deploy something simple, like a memcached pod, or something complex, like a full web app stack with HTTP servers, databases, caches, and so on. Helm is the easiest way to find, share, and use software that deploys within Kubernetes. Charts are easy to create, version, publish, and share. Helm Charts are published in Artifact Hub as a modern way for downloading, installing, and configuring applications that run in Kubernetes.

As of August 28, 2022, RegScale now supports deploying RegScale easily via Helm Charts that are now available on the RegScale site in Artifact Hub. RegScale has published simple deployment options for both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure making it easy for anyone running a managed Kubernetes services in the cloud to install RegScale in a scalable, cloud-native configuration with a single command. After working with our customers to launch and configure RegScale manually, we have seen the frustration and learning curve associated with properly configuring a Kubernetes cluster to support RegScale. Based on this experience, we have put in the engineering hours to make this installation process a single command that can be done in seconds.
