RegScale Achieves 10k Community Edition Downloads

September 6, 2022 | By J. Travis Howerton

RegScale, a leading continuous compliance automation software company with headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA, and research and development in Knoxville, TN, today announced that it has achieved two concurrent major milestones in its quest to launch a global RegOps Movement. First, we have now achieved over 10,000 global downloads and installs of our free Community Edition (CE) version of RegScale. This entry-level platform is free to use, contains all modules, and is targeted at providing small to mid-size businesses with free tools to meet their compliance obligations. Second, for the first time in our company’s history, we have achieved over 10k website page views in a single month. When combined, these two measures show that our RegOps movement is gaining traction, that customers are seeing value in the platform and approach, and that many stakeholders around the globe are eager to learn more.

“At RegScale we believe that compliance is too important to be unaffordable and we are thrilled that so many small businesses are using our free software to improve compliance and lower risk in their organizations,” said Travis Howerton, co-founder and chief technology officer, RegScale. “We believed that there was an under-served segment in the market that was just big enough to start feeling the compliance pain but still too small to have major budget to do anything about it. We made it our mission to provide free tools to these customers and are thrilled that over 10,000 of them have now adopted our platform.”

“In order to build the RegOps movement, we knew it was important to get a broad base of support and free tools are critical to enabling the RegOps movement to get traction,” said Anil Karmel, co-founder chief executive officer, RegScale. “The free CE is just the beginning of our investment into the RegOps movement and we look forward to announcing more ways for the community to get involved in the near future.”
